A committee was established to support rural women in Namayumba sub-county in Uganda. Their desire was to kickstart a project to provide an income for families.
With a grant from the NST Development Trust, adding to the money they themselves had collected, a poultry project was started and operated effectively. This has now progressed to a pig project, as they learnt from the poultry project and improved on their methods.
